#Fact: The Universe is UNBELIEVABLY abundant - the story of my black jacket

I talk all the time of how abundant the universe is ... and how every time I've ever needed anything from food, to a shower, to shelter - I've always had it even though for the last year I was strictly bartering. I feel like that makes me sound like I have some degree of skill, (when I assure you, I do NOT), and people might be less inclined to want to test it out thinking I have some magical power. Since I can't articulate that to you all and have you truly understand it, I have found a tangible example. This is something I did NOT do ... at all ... and or what so ever ... so this is proof, that I'm not special just awesome, and you can do it too.

I had this black Michael Jackson esque jacket that I bought ... wow, at least 5 years ago ... see, here I am wearing it on my 25th birthday ...

Last year, while on my way back east to celebrate my grandmother's life, I wound up losing it. Had no idea where it was, but to a minimalist this was DEVASTATING NEWS!! Like devastating ... devastating ... devastating news. Because I was going to have to be out in the cold at the cemetery (it as January), and we were in New England (translation: bat shit cold) - I had to figure something out. My parentals being my parentals, and very kind human beings, offered to buy me a new jacket. They didn't understand the whole bartering/ off the grid mentality that I had recently adopted, but they also didn't want their daughter to freeze.

We went to Marshalls and I picked out a jacket for under 20 bucks. Was superly duperly warm, had a hood. I had it all throughout 2010. See, here I am taking a nap on Venice Beach (DUDES!!! best place ever to nap when you're urban camping) with it on ...

I was clearly not in a good mood when I took this. hahaha. Need. Sleep. Now.

Flash forward to a few months ago, I was invited to stay out in Vegas for NAB (national association of broadcasters). Had a superly duperly rad time - but I wound up leaving my jacket in my friend's car. NOOOOOOOOO!!! Dudes, this is LITERALLY the only one that I have. Thought about it ... said, well, I can contact a sponsor, I'm sure I can figure this out. Didn't have to really freak out about it since summer was around the corner, and I live in Los Angeles - it never really gets "that" cold, unlike the time I was back east in freezing temps. (literally)

I put it out of my head, and just rocked hoodies whenever I needed something warm, as is my MO. I just trusted that no matter what, if I needed a jacket - it would just appear, or a sponsor would offer. Bottom line: I didn't sweat it.

Yesterday, my parentals sent me a package as they were moving from their old casa to a new one, and I still had some things there. What was one of the things that they found???

MY OLD THOUGHT-I-LOST-IT-BACK-EAST JACKET!!!!!

It was at my parents house the WHOLE time ... who knew!!! We all tore that place APART looking for it!!

What does this one jacket teach me about universal law?? Stay present, trust, and allow things to come to you. I didn't freak out (as that negative energy will provide more negativity), I didn't cry over some great attachment to either jacket - they're just pieces of cloth that provide warmth. And yeah! Now I'm set!!

Thank you parentals, and thank you Universe for being so gosh darn ABUNNDDANNNNTTT!!!!

The Universe will absolutely 100% of the time provide you with EVERYTHING YOU NEED ALWAYS!!!

So, go do some cool shit! =) =) =)

UGHHH!!! Love love love LOVE IT!!!
