#YayLife: I'm having a white trash weekend at a winery!!

Wahooooooooo!! You have no idea how excited this makes me!!

Kill it, Cletus.

So, last week I met up with my Facebook friend Matt who asked me for some advice on his location based social media app. In exchange for my knowledge he bought me lunch, and we we shot the shit.

Within the first 5 mins of sitting down he shows me this picture of a winery he is staying on while he mentally prepares himself to launch this app. Look at this place ...

FREAKING PARADISE!! It's owned by some big celebrity photographer.

He goes, I have this photo album showcasing the house to people on Facebook, and no one ever comes to visit. It's all the way up in Malibu, so it's hard to get people to come to visit since it has no internet.

My brain IMMEDIATELY says, GO JEN GO!!! YOU NEED A BREAK!!

No internet, eh? I say. What about cell service?

We have cell service in the house, but not much else. It is EXTREMELY rustic.

Oh yeah, this looks "rustic" I thought. Dudes, growing up in our summer home we had to drive to a well to get drinking water. I'm very much an outdoors-ey kinda chica, and this shit AIN'T rustic.

Either way, we then got down to business over lunch, and then he had to jet to head down to the San Dizzle to kick it with his girlfriend.

I'm going to call you, I say to ask if I can spend the weekend on your couch.

I'd love it, my new friend said.

Flash forward exactly one week - and now I'm about to crash on his couch!!

YAY!!

I decided to call this a "white trash weekend" since I plan on sitting in a bikini, straw cowboy hat, drinking two buck chuck while listening to Nickelback and Kid Rock on Spotify and Pandora.

YAY NICKELBACK!!

I'm really freaking excited, I haven't unplugged at all from the interwebz since I trimmed pot in Nothern California last summer. This is KINNNNNDDD of a big deal.

People don't get it man, having a website is like having a kid. You have to be on point 24/7/365. I'm CLEARLY not mad at it since this is my passion and my jam in life - but like any good parent, you also need a weekend away.

AHHH!! Can't wait to finish reading The Four Agreements!!!!!

I'll post a couple of mobile uploads on Facebook, but otherwise, I am sequestering myself all day Saturday to this paradise in exchange for some brain picking.

Life, I am SO not mad at you.

Peace love and lollipops all!! Hope you all have some equally fabulous weekend plans!

Now excuse please, but I have some pregaming to do.
