#NerdsUnite: Hold Up, Don't Tweet This!

<editorsnote> Nerds, meet Mark. I actually went to high school with this duderino, and he's super rad. Like for real rad - we had junior year math together, and he might not admit it - but he's pretty smart. He's going through some shizzy shiznat right now, and would like to talk about it ... HIT IT MARK!!  </editorsnote>

#TalkNerdyToMeLover's Mark Lindquist

My entire life I have held myself back and watched other people less fortunate/talented/motivated etc. rocket past me and achieve their dreams while I sat around with my excuses justifying why I couldn’t do it.

WELL I AM HERE TO TELL YOU I AM COMING OUT OF MY SHELL!! A coming out party of a different kind….. if you will.

I have waited for that chance to shine, to find that groove to follow, to catch a glimpse of an opening for my success. Now the door has opened and I am stepping in with confidence. It’s such a great time to be me because I am participating in the events that will create the lifestyle I want to have.

I can literally feel success right around the corner and the truth is that I have become good at being me.  If you can feel electricity running through these words it’s because I have stumbled onto a secret and just like any sales promotion will tell you, I’m here to give you the goods……. for free.

So what is stopping you from achieving the lifestyle you dream of?  Could it be that you aren’t using your energy efficiently? When information that excites and shocks us comes rocketing towards our digital social space we have a tendency to pass it along, re-tweet, and re-post before it has a chance to have a positive lasting impact. Why would we willingly participate in a virtual game of hot potato? What are we actually doing????? We are giving that energy away before we can use it for ourselves!!

The problem with passing along a hot tweet-izzle or scintillating photo is that we are stamping it with our approval or disapproval and unknowingly sending away a piece of our energy with it. It’s all about managing inflow versus out flow and I don’t know about you, but I lose enough energy just sitting in traffic.

Well this time why not try something different? Try holding that message in before sending it to your tweetable peeps and facebooking faces.  It even works well after an awesome night out. If you override your instinct to tweet and fb the details of an incredible night on the dance floor you can harness your energy for the next time and unleash a fury of dance moves, the likes of which the world has yet to see.
Why should anyone do that? It boosts your confidence and allows for the channeling of that energy.  It’s easy to pass a hot potato to the next person because it’s hot. The task becomes more difficult when you try to hold in and transmute the energy for your own personal use. If something can make you immediately act, then there is real power behind it. Tap into that power and become proactive rather than a passive receiver of information and….

With so many things to on the internet waiting to misguide and mislead us, it’s very important to sit on the information we take in. In doing so the truth will remain and the rest will fall away.

So instead of immediately forwarding this, take a moment to center yourself…… Hold this message in awareness. What can you take from it? Maybe you can channel some of the energy and finish that project you have put off or you could talk to someone whose spirits could use some uplifting. At that point if it’s still worthy enough to send into the cloud of confusion then fire away.  I did in order to get this message to you, but only after contemplating this:  Life is reflective.  In order to bring in and attract the lifestyle I am looking for, I have to give out willingly to yours.
