#Adventures in Adventuring: I'm totally paying to not live in my apartment

What's up homeslices?!??! Happy freaking Friday!!!

Wait, it is Friday, right? AHHHH!!! This entire week has gone by soooooooo fast - kinda don't know what to do with myself right now.

I'm currently doing laundry, and packing for my trip. I cannot believe after being a professional couch surfer for almost 365 days I am now paying to not live in my apartment for a solid month. Literally - I am gone 30 days, fucking trippy - great for you all though because I KNOOOWWW I am going to have some gnarly adventures. I just may or may not be pulling my hair out filming for this show - but it'll make it all interesting.

Meeting went well yesterday. The duderino brought up some points that I hadn't thought of which made me scratch the noggin - but after almost 24 hours of decompressing, it just kinda made sense. It's weird with what I do because I am the brand, and the brand is me. If someone is going to put down money to launch us as a media company - they are actually doing more of the investing in me directly. That'll obviously change how I get paid on a personal level, and alter some projects currently in the works.

I don't know anything about launching a company, (however I am reading EVERYTHING I can get my hands on), but I do know to build something epic you need a team. I can't do all of this alone - period end of sentence. Even if I were to hold off and wait for some personal money to come in, I feel like I'd be missing out on an opportunity to have some amazing people have an invested interest. I don't want yes people around me, I want people have a stake in things so we can TRULY grow and take things to another level. I don't know if that is ridiculous or like the smartest thing ever. I am on the fence, again, never having done this before.

I just know I'm super grateful, and if I stay centered and clear a bit of this stress off my plate - the right decision will come to me, and I will know what my next step is. I have a superly duperly solid gut - and it's never steered me wrong in business, but holy fuck, starting a company is not an easy thing when you're a creative nerdy hippie. I'm learning man, just gotta have patience with myself. Float like a butterfly ... float ... and don't forget to breathe.
