#NerdsUnite: @FlyingWillow = amazeballs!
Alrite, alrite, alrite - a whole heap load of you have been asking where I got the feathers in my hair ... and straight up, these things are the tits. Double Ds!!!
I was a bit hesitant about posting on them when I got them almost a month ago, because I just wasn't sure how easy they were going to be to take care of, and I'm a super crazy low maintenance human being ... if they were a pain, I just wasn't sure how kosher for passover I'd be in saying something about them ... either way, I KID YOU NOT these are AWESOME!!!
First off .... look ...you can see mine right here ... or in like every pic I've taken in the last month - HA!
They're held in place by this little plastic thing that doesn't damage your hair ... at all. In fact your normal hair just totally grows in under it ... look ...
Dudes, I color my hair, and even touched up my roots a week ago, and was able to not get any of it on these feathers (haha I was super careful, but STILL!!). They are CRAZY AWESOME low maintenance. They literally just feel like real hair, and I kid you not - the SECOND I got home and saw them on, I was like omg omg omg these complete me in a way that I didn't know I needed completing. They're totally gonna be a trend. Dude, even in the last month - good lord, I've seen so many people in 'em. It's that visceral reaction of omg yes! Totally had it with these. They're just so rad, and so cool, but just add so much character to your hair again without damaging it.
My fellow SpiritHood buddy Felicia does 'em - and dude, look at some of these client pics:
They can totes work on any style of hair, and you can even flat iron them or curl them - literally, it's like having really gnarly non damaging highlights put in.
The only problems I've had were, I can't really brush my hair with them. I use a wide tooth comb anyway since I have crazy think horse like hair. So for me, that was nothing, but I can imagine for some with a soft brush it would be a pain.
Also, when you're making out with a boy make sure you tell him that they're in. He might wonder if they're extensions ... but if he pulls your hair really hard, make sure you tell him that they're in there. HAHA! Totally not kidding, and totally almost happened.
But yah! Felicia is based here in LA! She's not paying me squat diddly tuna for this endorsement, just like I said really effin think these things are rad, and super happy that they're low maintenance.
Here's more info on Felicia:
Dude, SOOOO RAAADD!! BAHHHH!!
Thanks so so so much Felicia!!!
