DUDDESSSSS!!! I just had the nerdiest of all nerdy dinners tonight. Among the guests were Einstein's second cousin, and a man who is credited for the Hollywood walk of fame. Literally, he was on the board that said - this is prolly a good idea. HAHA so fucking rad. It's just so awesome that everyone at the table was so accomplished in their own right that you could sit there and actually speak to an issue without someone trying to out nerd another. For reals, I can't stand it when you get into nerd debates and people start pulling shit out that is so completely irrelevant, or you start talking your own language of code ... and people just stop caring.
I had such a great time, I expected Patrick Swayze to come back from the dead, and do the lift with Jennifer Grey right there in the middle of the room. It's just so awesome that even though there was quite a generation gap at the table - everyone was in complete accord that the world is changing. Literally, the whole world. People really do think I'm crazy when I come up with all these theories, and yada yada ... but even when I step out of my little social media love bubble for a minute - people get it. I just ... have no words. I am so grateful from the depth of my soul to the tip of my toes to everyone that has been along the journey for this adventure in all things nerd. I don't know what the future is holding, but I know I better pack some shades cause it's awwfulllyyy briighhhttt!!!! =) =) =)
