I can see people’s auras, scientifically speaking, how is that possible?

So here’s the deal — it’s all about something called “filters” in your brain, and it’s kind of wild to think about.
You can watch a video on YouTube called Is Consciousness Produced by the Brain? by Dr. Bruce Greyson, he talks about these “filters” that your brain has.
Some people are born with them, and some aren’t. For example, some people can remember everything that’s ever happened to them, like, every single day, from when they were little.
There are also kids who can remember stuff from past lives or see things that others can’t see, but that usually stops when they get older. It’s like their brains change as they grow up.
And then, as people get older, especially with diseases like dementia, their “filters” seem to stop working, which is kind of interesting to think about.
Now, we all love to believe science explains everything, but the truth is, science is still figuring out new things all the time. It’s constantly discovering new stuff that no one even thought about before. So, based on my own research (which isn’t super fancy, but I’ve filmed a lot of people under hypnosis), there’s a lot we don’t understand yet.
Eye problems or brain stuff aside — let’s talk about seeing someone’s “aura.” You know, like, when you feel like you can see a weird light around someone? People usually ignore it or think it’s not a big deal, but it’s actually something interesting to look into. Think of it like when you dream — a lot of people dismiss their dreams until they realize they might actually be getting important information, not just random stuff. So, if you’re seeing someone’s aura, try to pay attention to it. Is it always the same for everyone? Is it light or kind of dark? Is it moving around, or is it still? Is it flat, like a drawing, or does it look different? Write it down if you can, even if it’s just a memory.
Then, think about the person whose aura you’re seeing. There are animals that can do crazy things we can’t, like dogs can smell cancer, and bees can see ultraviolet light. So, maybe there’s something more going on with these auras than we realize. Take some time to really think about what you’re seeing. You can even ask yourself (or your “higher self,” which is like a wiser part of you) some questions about it, like, “Why am I seeing this light around this person?” or “What’s the point of me seeing this?”
I think we spend too much time arguing about what’s real or not when we should be focusing on what people are actually experiencing and why. People have all sorts of crazy experiences, like near-death stuff or out-of-body experiences. And if you’re feeling confused, your higher self knows what’s going on, even if you don’t fully get it yet.
From a scientific perspective, the concept of “filters” in the brain can be linked to the way our brains process and interpret information. Research suggests that our brains constantly filter out sensory input to focus on what’s most relevant to our survival and daily functioning. However, the phenomenon of perceiving auras, memories of past lives, or heightened senses in certain individuals points to the possibility that there may be additional layers to consciousness and perception that we don’t fully understand yet. As science continues to evolve, exploring these areas could reveal new insights into how our minds interpret reality, the nature of memory, and even the potential of human perception beyond the physical world. In essence, we are only beginning to scratch the surface of what’s possible within the brain and consciousness.
As research into the brain and consciousness continues, scientists are exploring concepts like neuroplasticity, which is the brain’s ability to reorganize itself by forming new neural connections. This suggests that the brain’s filters may not be static but could change throughout a person’s life, influenced by experiences, age, or even specific neurological conditions. For example, cases of people who can remember past lives or see things others can’t may point to an underexplored aspect of brain function, possibly related to how our minds process and store information. This could mean that what we perceive as “extra-sensory” might actually be a form of heightened perception that some individuals experience due to how their brains are wired or how they interact with the environment.
Furthermore, the idea that some people have access to a broader spectrum of perception, such as seeing auras or sensing subtle energies, could be tied to advances in quantum physics, which has begun to challenge our understanding of reality itself. Quantum theories suggest that consciousness might not be entirely confined to the brain and could potentially exist on a deeper, more fundamental level of reality. While this remains speculative, it opens up intriguing possibilities about the nature of perception and how it may extend beyond what we currently know. As our scientific tools and understanding improve, we may uncover new ways to study these phenomena and gain a deeper understanding of the vast capabilities of the human mind.
Lastly, while science has made incredible strides in understanding the brain and consciousness, there’s still so much we don’t fully grasp. The idea of filters in the brain, and how some people experience heightened perceptions like seeing auras or recalling past lives, challenges our current understanding and invites us to explore the untapped potential of human consciousness. As we continue to investigate these phenomena, it’s crucial to remain open to new possibilities and discoveries that may ultimately reshape how we view the mind, reality, and our place in the universe. The journey of scientific exploration is far from over, and each new question brings us closer to uncovering the mysteries that lie beyond the surface of what we think we know.
