Nerdy Thoughts on #OBL

It was SUCH a trip last night wrapping up the last of my move and reading that Bin Laden was dead.

Crazy. Crazy. Crazy.

I was in Boston at the time of the attacks. Literally, that morning (which I believe was a Tuesday) - I had a meeting in Boston at 9am with a commercial modeling agent. When we were walking in I remember hearing about the first tower - and then during our meeting, his assistant came in and announced that the second tower was also hit and that we were under attack. I was 16, and none of it registered. He then asked her to clear his schedule for the rest of the day and that they were all going to go home early.

We were in Copley Square at the time, and eerily enough that is where they caught some of the duderinos responsible for the attacks.

All this and that is great. It certainly is a time for prayer and a time to reflect ... one thing I'm not doing however is rejoycing. Yes, September 11th was a terribly sad thing to have happen - and we were all clearly never the same from it, but they're going to retaliate ... we just killed their leader, and what is the continued bloodshed really accomplishing?

Be smart, keep your heads up - and keep on keepin on. Eat drink and be merry - for tomorrow we die.

but oh yeah ... lemme just get one of these in ...

PS. The live-tweeting of the attack made my life. Saw this on TechCrunch last night. AMAZING!
