#SocialMedia Week LA: Panel to watch!
Looky, looky the email I just got regarding social media week ...
Please join our panel during Social Media Week Los Angeles, www.socialmediaweek.org/losangeles entitled “Tracks to Tweeting: Artists on Social Media Remixing the Music World.” Rockamedia will be hosting the event, moderated by ABC TV Network Reporter/Producer and Blogger Sheila Marikar on Thursday afternoon, September 23, 7PM to 8:30PM. The event will be at the V Lounge, Santa Monica. It is a free event.
In our very pro-social media setting, musicians and social media honchos will discuss the nut and bolts of what the medium and artists have to offer each other. A live performance will follow, from 8:45 to 10PM. The evening will end around 10PM.
Artists participating include former Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts and Taylor Brown of Vanaprasta, and possibly Robin Thicke and Sully Erner (of Godsmack).
Dude, this sounds radddd!!! So stoked for social media week, but I'm not gonna lie ... a bit disappointed all the panels are literally all across LA instead of in one central area. Do people not realize the traffic we have round these parts?!?! For reals ... the 405 isn't actually a highway, it's a really gnarly car show, where people just go and park - and hang out for a few hours every day. Super cool ... met some hot dudes there once.
