Who says finger painting is just for kids???
DUUDDESS!!! Have you guys seen this video??
The el duderino behind this awesomeness is David Kassan.
He describes this video as: A quick Apple ipad live fingerpainting demo that I streamed live from my Brooklyn studio on Monday June 21st. 2010, The model sat for 3 hours as I painted and answered questions on how I use the iPad and the Brushes app. Just thinking of creative uses for the ipad.
... and because I know you'd do this anyway ... here's his wiki.
David Jon Kassan (Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, 1977) is a contemporary American painter best known for his life-size realist portraits. The paintings combine figurative subjects with abstract backgrounds or “tromp l’oeil texture studies,”[1] reportedly inspired by Franz Kline and Robert Rauschenberg.[2] Of this dual representation strategy Kassan notes, “my effort to constantly learn to document reality with a naturalistic, representational painting technique allows for pieces to be inherent contradictions; paintings that are both real and abstract.”[3]
Kassan currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York, and teaches painting classes and workshops at various institutions around the world.
