#Pee-wee back on the big screen?

We all watched "Pee-wee's Big Adventure" (1985, also Tim Burton's feature film debut) as well as the TV show "Pee-wee's Playhouse" growing up. Many thought that the unfortunate event of Paul Reubens' (Pee-wee Herman) 1991 arrest for "exposure of sexual organs" would doom his career, but he slowly made his comeback.
"I know you are, but what am I?"
In Janurary, 20 years after his arrest, Paul Reubens made his official return as Pee-wee, bringing the character back to the stage. After attending a stage performance, Judd Apatow (writer-director of "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" and "Knocked Up") decided to team up with Reubens to create a new Pee-wee Herman movie. Apatow's vision for the movie is "a reality-based world and a linear road movie."
Though there are no confirmations of any of Apatow's regulars such as Seth Rogan or Jonah Hill, we can't rule out the possibility of familiar faces. Reubens did admit the possibility of some A-List celebrities, but didn't drop any names.
Did someone say Johnny Depp?
