They're talking nerdy bout Damian Marley!!

So I posted on Facebook last night, that I was going to get to talk nerdy today with Damian MARLLLEEYYY and looky, looky at the comment / post TNTML friend Ian wrote:

many of these records aren't as pop but they are really his best stuff. zimbawe is one of my favorite Bob songs, and it's ironic, written in the late 70's/early 80's as blacks, led by robert mugabe took over the country, as an epression of hope that the country would be a beacon of fredom. 25 years later, i think it was 2005/6, nas & damien did a song called" road to zion" where nas talks about how mugabe has been a terrible dictator, and it's ironic he raps about it on a song with a guy whose father wrote about the hope of the people of zimbabwe oh so long ago ... if you're gunna do any research before the interview, download those two songs for sure! both are great tunes (other bob songs not on most greatest hits compilations in the same genre that are great are "africa unite" <-- one of the most beautiful reggae songs ever written, "one drop" <-- one of my favorite bob songs of all and my most personal bob song for when im fighting the world "ride natty ride" which includes my favoirte bob marley lyric (which actually is paraphrased from a psalm in the bible) "the stone that the builder refused, shall be the head corna stone" ...

so ya, im jealous! have fun for me !!!
