What should a good nerd do on Mother's day to show her mama how much she really cares?? Devote a post to her!

Mama, this one's for you!

Dear Mom,

First, I just wanted to say that I love you - and as deeply sarcastic as I may be, this is actually quite serious. Michael and I may be polar opposites on everything in life, but the one thing we share is the fact that we were raised by two amazing nerds. Seriously ... you and dad together since 7th grade? Good job on that one!!

From your amazing cooking, to your unbelievably big heart, and many kind ways - you are an inspiration mom. You have taught me to be all the good kinds of crazy, and to have fun doing every minute of it. To love all nerds the same, and understand that all unique viewers were created equally (nerd inside joke *hehehehehe*).

I know it is hard for you both to understand what I do online ... but please take my word for it, that I'm kind of a big deal. Please note, I say that as humbly as possible (after all that is how you both raised me to be ...), but also very matter of fact. You taught me to never stop going after my goals in life, and after 3,100 hours on this website - I am almost to where I want to be. For that, I thank you.
