8-Bit Dr. Horrible... More Like Dr. #AWESOME
#TalkNerdytoMeLover's According to Adam
The Internet is a wonderful place. It brings us funny pictures of cats, horribly embarrassing Facebook statuses, and Rick Astley videos.
And during the TV writers strike it brought us "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog", possibly the fourth-greatest thing ever to come from the mind of Joss Whedon (making it probably the fifth-greatest thing ever). I watch Dr. Horrible probably about once a week, and I'm eagerly awaiting the sequel, mostly because I need more Felicia Day in my life. And yes, I know that Penny <SPOILER> died </SPOILER> in Dr. Horrible, but I'm still sure Felicia will be in the sequel in some way.
Until that sequel arrives, Dr. Horrible fans get get a new fix of awesomeness (or Horribleness, I guess) in the form of "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Game". It's not actually a game (that would be too awesome to be contained by the Internet), but a version of "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog" faithfully rendered in 8-bit NES style, complete with Final Fantasy-esque menus and inventory systems.
The first act of "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Game" was released awhile back, and the second act came out today. Check out the progress so far below, and join me in waiting for the third act.
