Meeting with #FourSquare

OMG OMG OMG!!! I am COMPLETELY freaking out!!! As you all know, I will stop at nothing to accomplish a goal. Where there is a will - there is always, always, ALWAYS a way. I emailed Naveen, one of the creators of FourSquare almost a month ago ... and actually received a response today!!!!

I wanted to share this with you all not to brag and say nah ne nah ne poop eeee (although assume I am doing that anyway ...) - but rather to inspire you all to go after your own dreams, and to never EVER give up.

A hoi hoi Naveen,

Alrite dude, I am going to try to keep this as absolutely short as possible - while trying to express the UNBELIEVABLE passion I have for this project.

104 days ago I created the site www.TalkNerdyToMeLover.com - yes, even the people at GoDaddy laugh when they hear the domain name (so awesome!). I also found out about 20 seconds ago, that I am one of the latest agents in the Ford Fiesta Movement (SO COOL!).

Having worked as a professional nerd for the last few years - I took all the elements that I knew worked for my clients, and integrated it into my own site. It is for branding purposes "social commentary on social media" - however, let's call a spade a spade ... it's a revolution. I am very literally changing the public's definition of the word nerd. Nerds are now defined as being "hot, cool, sexy, and techie."

With that in mind comes the next phase of my plan.

Location based social media is the "next big thing" (for lack of a better cliche) in the web 2.0 world. That's just a fact, I don't have to tell you this. What I want to do is travel the country (now thanks to Ford, I have the car), while live streaming on Ustream and checking in on FourSquare along the way, uniting nerds, and pointing out some really cool "need to know" things along the way. Why should you care? Because of the Twitter curse. Being the most popular word of 2009, yet failing to establish value in the public's mind. People view Twitter as pointless because its core essence relies in the engagement factor, and how the heck are you going to start that when your 25 suggested users are celebs, or otherwise fairly irrelevant news outlets.

It's pretty much plug and play what each mission would be about. However, the engagement factor is crucial. Plus, people dig me (please note I say that as humbly as possible, but very matter of fact). I have over 600,000 fans from working as a life caster assisting Brad Greenspan in the launch of LiveVideo. I held a FourSquare check-off challenge on Saturday, and have already been challenged again!

I recently crashed the Grammys to meet Pete Cashmore, and where there is a will there is always, always, always a way. I love FourSquare - and I love being such a nerd. I would love to show you my business plan, and Skype, or meet in person to discuss in further.

Thanks so much!
