#Foursquare is uniting the nerdy folk ...
Ok, I would say this is weird, but this is my life ... so it actually seems more logical than anything else.
I had just wrapped livestreaming from #CTIA and was walking down the Vegas strip ... and snapped this little bundle of joy on my Droid.
I then got this tweet ...
SOOOO I had to scope out the work, and I took this ...
SOOOO then of COURSE I had to create a #FourSquare checkin ... although, I think I should have made it the FountainBleau construction site ... BUT who cares!!! It's all in good nerdy fun!
DUUUDDEE!!! What are the odds that I would be walking down the street, RANDOMLY in Vegas ... and snap a twitpic, and one of my friends on Twitter would have an intimate connection to a building in the background. Holy crap, this is nerdy on so many new levels ...
ME FREAKING GUSTA!!!!! #LocationBasedSocialMedia FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh yeah, and FountainBleau? Here's some really cool info & pics! It opens in Vegas in the fall.

The 3,812-room, 68-floor, 730-foot, Fontainebleau Las Vegas hotel/condo-hotel/casino is a
$2.9-billion development being built on the Strip (just north of the Riviera) on the 24.5 acres where the El Rancho and Algiers casinos once stood.
The Vegas project will have a condo-hotel element, based on an alliance between Fontainebleau and Turnberry. Construction is under way with a planned opening in fall of 2009.
