I is moved

#TalkNerdyToMeLover's @maniacalmorgan

OMG!!! Can I just tell you guys how happy I am right now? Too bad, I just did. Thanks to Twitter, I have found a beautiful house to live in with some totally awesome people. Huzzah for social media!

Back in August, I ended up moving back in with mom and dad due to some things going on at work. I thought I was going to lose my income and I didn't want to leave my roommate / best friend with my $900 portion of rent. So, I called up my parents and they welcomed me back into their home. I love love love my parents, but they drive me crazy when we live together. There are no boundaries and the expectations to attend family dinners and such. I can't tell you how many times I got walked in on while changing or getting ready to shower. It was awkward. Finally I sent a shout out via Twitter to see if anyone had a room or knew of a room for rent. Minutes afterward, I received this response...

This was my saving grace! Honestly, an extra 15 minute commute is TOTALLY worth living in a house with some cool dudes. In case you were wondering, this is the very same Coordinated Drunk that happened to message Jen on OkCupid. So, I met the guy and he's freaking awesome! So so nice, upbeat, and very genuine. I am very excited to be starting a new chapter in my life in this awesome house!

Now, when Jen says that life is reflective, it's very true. A perfect example for me was how the move took place today. I had planned on having my buddy come with his pick up truck to help me out, but unfortunately that fell through. I was left with no real way to transport much of anything. I called up one of my friends and he came to help me, but space was limited in his Scion. Where there's a will, there's a way. We made a trip to my new house with some of my smaller things where my other totally awesome roomate, Stouty, awaited. He joined in our caravan in his Prius. Every little bit helps! Now, I wasn't sure how I was going to move my desk or my mattress, but worrying about it wasn't going to change anything. As we packed up the two small cars, sure enough my dad shows up in his big ol' SUV. Scoooooore! In just two trips, we were able to get all the essentials over to my new place where I am in fact posting from.

So nerds, this is a very happy and appreciative Morgan writing to you right now. If you love life, life will love you. Oh, did I mention there's a hot tub at my new house? Ummm, yessssss!
