Be Grateful. It pays, literally!
I just got bought some chicken and veggies down the street.Feeling under the weather warrants some gnarly take out.
I went to go pay, and it was $8.10.
I paid with two fives, and said oh let me find a dime.
The woman next to me pipes up, and said here, I have a dime.
She then proceeded to hand the cashier a dime.
Then she stopped, looked up and said, you know what here - and handed her three singles as well.
This perfect stranger donated $3.10 to my meal.
She said, she felt like she could give this to me, that I was deserving.
I think anyone else in the world might have been offended, but I just smiled and said thank you.
Knowing refusing her gift is a denial of good things to come to her as well.
Dude, this happens to me ALL. THE. TIME. People wonder why I always give things to people, why I do really, weird, cooky, "greater good" balancing acts ... IT WORKS PEOPLE!!!
And I'm not exaggerating when I say, it's kinda awesome.
Life, you're pretty fabulous!! You don't make sense, but you don't have to!
