Confused ...

I just got an email on Facebook from a guy who said "freckles and blue eyes really works for me."
I am finding this confusing for a plethora of reasons.
1) My default pic - which is all he can see - is colored. How would he know my eyes are blue?
2) That must mean that he found my picture through google. Very common, I'm all over that damn internet thing. Ok, so check one for potential stalker.
3) He's a super nice dude who's paying a girl a compliment in 8 words. I like guys that dig the whole brevity thing.
4) What the hell does he mean by "working for me?" Translation being, he is attracted to females with clusters of concentrated melanin and blue pigmented irises?

AHHH boys, I give up trying to understand you.
