Blackberry is out ...

Blackberry is experience an outage in North America. Damn you Canadians!! Come on RIM get your shit together!!

If you don't know how Blackberries operate, you run off two servers - the BIS and BES.
The BIS stands for Blackberry Internet Service. It's the standard mode of operation set for a single user accessing the internet.
The BES stands for Blackberry Enterprise Service. It's reserved for multiple Blackberry users wanting to operate on a network. Larger companies use this server.

This outage has nothing to do with your wireless service provider, this is merely an internal error on the part of RIM (Research In Motion), the Canadian company that your Blackberry runs off of.

Get it? I had to sit through SOOO many RIM workshops when I worked for Verizon indirect. Funny what sticks out in your brain.
Don't panic though guys, it will be fixed soon. In the meantime, check out some info on the Droid. Very cool phone!! =)
